Busy Summer!
There is a lot happening at The Journey this summer and these are just three:
Social Survival and Employment – This summer The Journey will be running a program for teens and young adults aged 14 – 22 years to assist with employment and also provide lots of great social survival skills. The program starts on July 16, but there is a big kick-off event on Tuesday, June 30th at 4pm!
Refresh – This is a great program where we gather a team of volunteers (150 – 200 of them) and blitz the community painting apartments. Last year we painted 21 apartments in one week! This year Refresh will run the week of July 6 – 10. You can sign up to volunteer, or have your apartment painted (Ardglen/Orenda only) at The Journey.
Summer Camp – Our Summer Day Camp runs from July 13 to Aug 21. We are totally booked up, but we are taking a waiting list.
