The Journey is Hiring!
The Journey Neighbourhood Centre is hiring for two temporary contract positions. Both contracts will be for:
10 weeks at 15 hours per week at a rate of $12 per hour
The start date is June 20th or as soon as possible after that date.
Position 1: Events and Program Facilitator
The Contractor shall provide the following services:
- Planning, co-ordination and implementation for assigned events.
- Promotion of programs and events within the community.
- Recruiting participants and volunteers for events and programs.
- Performing associated administrative duties.
The Contractor will report to and work with the Centre Manager to carry out all assigned duties.
Position 2: Administrator
The Contractor shall provide the following services:
- Financial tracking and reporting for petty cash, registration fees and expenditures.
- Administrative duties including registration and attendance tracking.
- Assistance with programs and events, as needed.
- Assistance with promotion, recruiting and registration for events, as needed.
The Contractor will report to and work with the Centre Manager to carry out all assigned duties.
