The Journey’s CAG Action Plan
The Community Action Group (CAG) is a dedicated initiative that responds to and advocates for the diverse needs of our community. Our goal is to create a self-sustaining model that empowers residents, addresses critical social issues, and fosters long-term community resilience. We are committed to expanding our program offerings, including children’s education, community awareness, and various community-building initiatives.
CAG works to build capacity in addressing chronic issues such as mental health, safety, family breakdown, addiction, food insecurity, and precarious employment. We provide a range of workshops and support services focusing on housing, wellness, financial literacy, and community safety.
Our advocacy efforts are expanding to address housing and other critical community needs, ensuring that we meet the expressed concerns of our residents.
As we grow, CAG aims to extend our impact beyond our immediate community, forging partnerships and collaborations that enable us to address broader regional needs. Through our efforts, we strive to create a community that is resilient, informed, and connected, capable of facing challenges with strength and unity.
