Contribute to the Journey

Your financial support contributes significantly towards the mission of The Journey in bringing transformation to our neighbourhood.  By financially supporting The Journey you help us to provide homework assistance to children, healthy snacks, transformative programming and practical assistance, care and support.

YOUR SUPPORT IS APPRECIATED

While The Journey is very generously supported through The United Way, Ontario Trillium Foundation, various service clubs, North Bramalea United Church and United Church of Canada it is the financial support from individuals such as you that enables us to be effective in our mission.

Canada Helps

CanadaHelps is a registered charity and nonprofit social enterprise. CanadaHelps mission is to promote – and ultimately increase – charitable giving in Canada. Because CanadaHelps is a non-profit our fees are typically half that of the for-profit alternatives. We do this servicing Canadian donors, charities and corporations.  We appreciate your financial support of The Journey.

Donate a Car

Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for The Journey Neighbourhood Centre.  Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to The Journey Neighbourhood Centre through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for The Journey Neighbourhood Centre to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, our charity will send you a tax receipt and will put your gift to good use.

Crisis and Compassionate Fund

The Journey Neighbourhood Centre is located in a community that has known far more than its fair share of crises and challenges.  We at The Journey have distributed food, clothing and grocery cards.  Rented storage lockers for residents, hosted crisis meetings, provided relief after house fires, shed tears, comforted the bereaved and we have done what we can to relieve suffering.

The Journey has setup a “Crisis and Compassionate” Fund, to make available funds for meeting urgent critical needs in our community.  If you are interested in donating money to our fund, you can donate online at Canada Helps, or write a cheque to, “The Journey Neighbourhood Centre” designating our Crisis and Compassionate fund, or even drop off cash at our 9 Ardglen Centre.

Please note that we cannot accept funds that are designated for a particular person or situation.  The dispersion of funds is at the discretion of The Journey Neighbourhood Centre.
